COMMITTEES | Venue/Logistics


This Committee Holds the Responsibility for the Site.

Work with the Event Chair & Staff to find an appropriate venue. 

Liaise with the site principal; create overall appearance of event; rent chairs, tables, carpet, china, glassware, linens.

Coordinate with Fashion Show Committee on rental of risers, tent(s), lights and sound systems.

Coordinate with Volunteer Committee for set-up and breakdown.

Coordinates and manages breakdown and garbage disposal; works with chairs on budget.

You may want to elect a Decor Coordinator who will act as a go between with the Auction, Fashion Show and Marketplace Committees and oversee the decor for the event. The Event Chair & Staff will probably oversee this person and have final say on decor choices, but every event hierarchy is different. Review the Decor Basics.
