GREAT IDEAS & LESSONS LEARNED

Trust us, the music that works for these events is high-energy “girls-night-out” music. Do NOT play hip-hop, rap, jazz, classical,
techno club, Buddha Bar lounge house, if you still aren’t sure about musical selections, ask WW&S.

Ask the sound company to spread the speakers equally around the venue. It’s easy to get stuck having to place speakers by the power sources, but it disrupts the sound’s balance and people on the other side of the room can’t hear the music. Don’t forget to put speakers outside if there is an “outside.”

Beware of volume turned down too low and drowned out by crowd noise.

Speakers placed in front of vendors or vintners makes it impossible for them to talk to guests.

Beware of drunk DJs. We don’t mind if they drink, but in moderation.
